Sara Mathew is a seasoned leader in healthcare management with over 10 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, hospital operations, and research administration. She believes that access to healthcare is a basic right of every human being, and her life goals align with the mission of Bridging Access to Care to create healthier communities through coordinated & accessible healthcare. Through her transformational leadership style, she has launched multiple new ventures and led cross-functional teams that drive sustained growth, innovation, and profitability in the New York healthcare market.
She currently works as the Senior Administrator for Level 1 Trauma and Burn center and GI Metabolic center at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine. She received an undergraduate degree in Industrial engineering from the University of Mumbai and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA) from the University of Minnesota, where she serves on the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee for the MHA program. She is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) since 2010 and became a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) in 2018. She also received the ACHE service award in 2020 and is passionate about mentoring future healthcare leaders from diverse backgrounds.
