Our outreach opportunities allow members of our Prevention Education department to go directly out into the community to provide hands-on education. As we work to defeat the stigmas around prevention, our Outreach Team provides vital information about healthy choices, the impact of substance misuse and how to keep yourself and others protected.

Program information

In order to stay connected to our community, our Prevention Education Outreach staff provides many of our resources directly to residents at events, on the streets, as well as right in front of our agency's doors. We engage potential clients with information around substance misuse, mental health, safe sex practices, healthy choices and other wellness tools.

Eligibility information

While we aim to serve the entire community, BAC prioritizes reaching individuals who are susceptible to riskier behaviors that can negatively impact their health. Our team is equipped to teach individuals and potential clients about safe sex practices, monkeypox prevention, vaping and smoking, substance misuse, gambling risk factors, anger management skills and other wellness essentials.
