Available programs

BAC is home to an OASAS-licensed outpatient substance use treatment clinic called First Steps, which is located at our 2261 Church Ave site in Brooklyn, NY. Anyone struggling with their substance use and want to make efforts to improve their lives are approached from a harm reduction, person centered and trauma informed way by our staff to assist with their goals.

Individual Counseling

Clients who are already enrolled in our First Steps outpatient care program will receive access to one of our substance use counselors who can provide essential support during their recovery journey. It's important for clients to work with our counselors to create a person-centered treatment plan that works for them and their lifestyle.

Treatment Groups

Clients who are already enrolled in our First Steps outpatient care program will be able to join our substance use support groups led by our counselors. Individuals struggling with their substances can find solidarity with others who are on the same path and learn how reach their goals.

Mobile Services

Our new mobile unit features two medical rooms, two bathrooms and is able to provide multiple health screenings to new clients with our care staff right on board.

GBHI (Grants for the Benefit of Homeless Individuals)

Our GBHI program allows individuals who struggle with stable housing and substance use to access important resources to take control of their health.

We work with New Yorkers between the ages of 18 and 25 to navigate and breakthrough substance use issues or co-occurring disorders.
